All the choirs and the Nuremberg audience will come together once again on the market square for the grand finale of the Chorfest. The audience can look forward to the festival choir, which was created especially for the Chorfest and sings from the recently published choir book "Choral Music Composed by Women". The Landesjugendchor NRW will delight the audience with works such as Benjamin Britten's "Advance Democracy" and Friedrich Silcher's "Frisch gesungen", while the Männerchor Thüngersheim will send the audience off into the afternoon with an Irish blessing.
With thanks from DCV President Christian Wulff and Minister of State for Science and the Arts Markus Blume, the baton for the next Chorfest 2029 is passed on.
In cooperation with the Fränkischer Sängerbund and the Chorverband Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Free admission.
Afterwards, the Nuremberg Singing Circle invites you to the finale on behalf of the Franconian Singers' Association: Here, Nuremberg choirs present themselves in all their diversity - from pop to heavy metal, from children to senior citizens, from maritime songs to traditional choral sounds. Details here.
Notes on accessibility:
The event will be interpreted into German Sign Language and there will be reserved seats with a good view of the interpreter. Induction loops can be used in a marked area.
