Choreography: Miriam Markl
Conductor: Janette Schmid

Sacred and secular works by Rudolf Mauersberger, Ola Gjeilo, Johannes Brahms and others as well as compositions by Dominik J. Dieterle and Katerina Gimon

A male choir and a female ensemble combine tradition and modernity to create a captivating sound experience. Sonat Vox opens the concert with sacred male choir literature and then presents a selection of secular songs by Brahms, Mendelssohn and others - a moving insight into the diversity, expressiveness and depth of male choir music.

In the second part of the program, the women's choir Carré Chanté presents "t_ans.humanismus", an artistic fusion between humans and digital technology. A choral cycle is transformed into a hybrid performance of analog voices and cell phone sounds, framed by dance and choreographic elements. The project sheds light on the effects of digitalization in terms of physicality, community and the possibilities of connecting with one another.
