Deutschlandfunk proudly presents: An evening with Michelle Willis (UK)

She accompanies herself with piano or acoustic guitar, and her vocals also make Michelle Willis' music unique. Born in 1986, the singer-songwriter sings songs full of surprising harmonies with a relaxed, engaging depth. When she was still living in New York, she was part of the Lighthouse Band with the legend David Crosby (who died in 2023) in the studio and on stage. Crosby said Willis sounded "like God on a good day". And this evening in the Deutschlandfunk Kammermusiksaal with the recording for the concert series "On Stage" will round off a good day!
