What does it do to people when a hunger strike is no longer enough? When the people whose future you are trying to save don't really listen? 19-year-old Lina, co-founder of the Last Generation, wants to use civil disobedience to increase the pressure on the government in times of climate crisis. For her fellow campaigners Taura, Guerrero, Charly and Fuchs, this form of protest does not go far enough: other ways are needed. Director Felix Maria Bühler follows his five protagonists up close for a whole year as they take action. He captures friendly, intimate moments, but also shows the difficulties that the activists face on a daily basis - from feelings of powerlessness to violent insults on the street to criminal prosecution. How far are they prepared to go? What are their limits when it comes to standing up for their ideals?
