DFD Festival: The Ethical Silk Company

The Ethical Silk Company stands for high-quality, ethically and sustainably produced silk products. Our silk is produced without animal suffering - this means that the silkworms are allowed to complete their natural life cycle before the cocoons are processed further. In close cooperation with fair production facilities in India, we pay attention to transparency, fair working conditions and environmentally conscious production. Our collection includes elegant and timeless pieces for at home and on the go - for people who value quality, sustainability and ethical responsibility.

At the DFD Festival, we will set up a small station where visitors can feel the difference between ethically sourced silk - as we process it - and conventional silk. We want to raise awareness of sustainable alternatives in the textile sector and show that luxury and responsibility are compatible. A selection of our special products will also be available on site.
