The band will be playing their first ever concert in North Rhine-Westphalia this evening, and we highly recommend taking advantage of this rare opportunity.

Ultra-fat bass, that's what Didi Beck is all about when he takes to the stage. Be it as the bassist of his main band 'Boppin'B', with whom he has been getting people moving for over 6000 concerts, or now with his solo project Didi Beck & Band.
In 2023, he released his first solo album 'Ultrafetter Bass' on Tobago Records, causing quite a stir. Rockabilly and rock'n'roll in German is rare, probably because it's not so easy not to slip into pop music. But, if you believe the enthusiastic reviews, Didi has more than succeeded. Ironic, self-reflective, sometimes absurd, but above all: musically exciting and very danceable.
And now the whole thing can be heard live. Didi Beck, who is certainly one of the best-known rockabilly slap bassists in the world, will be supported by the two congenial producers of his album (and, as connoisseurs know, of countless other albums), Adriano BaTolba and Pomez DiLorenzo on guitars and Manuel Stein on drums.
In addition to the great songs, you can look forward to a concentrated load of virtuosity and rock'n'roll energy.
A first appearance at the Walldorf Rock'n'Roll Weekender was a great success, and so there are now more dates to bring the sound of 'Ultrafetten Bass' to the masses.
