Die Ades Zabel Company: EDITH RENNT

Not only did Edith Schröder inventor Ades Zabel, dubbed the "house saint" of the Berlin cabaret institution by the press, recently turn 60, but the show troupe named after him was also able to celebrate its 20th anniversary as the successor to the "Teufelsberger".

Since the casting show satire "Edith Schröder Superstar" in 2003, Ades Zabel & Company has put on one Neuköllnical after another - highlights such as "LINIE 8", the Christmas classic "Wenn Ediths Glocken läuten" and, most recently, "Tatort Neukölln" have reliably kept the atmosphere in the Kreuzberg rooftop theater boiling. The fans thank the four-member Futschi gang around Berlin's most famous unemployed person with a full house and rapturous applause.

Time for the Zabel Company to look back: With "Edith rennt", Ades sends his showcase Neuköllnerin on a journey through time in the style of the Tom Tykwer classic and brings a veritable ring of Nibe... er, smoker's lungs on the stage of the BKA: short versions of several productions, linked by freshly shot clips in the "Run Lola Run" style, let some highlights of the last decades shine in the stage light.

As usual and as requested, there will be plenty of singing, dancing and drinking...
