Heinz is facing the ruins of his existence: the love of his life has left him overnight and one of his many business ideas has - once again - failed. Then his friend Franky makes him an offer: Heinz is to help him bring a wrestling show to the Oktoberfest. On board: the amateur bodybuilder Betül, the former jockey Gernot and a few other characters from the Munich demimonde and neighborhood. The goal: fame and glory. And a few tens of thousands of euros each. In his second novel, Munich author and BAS graduate Bernhard Heckler ("Das Liebesleben der Pinguine") tells a ravishingly rough and heartily poetic tale of Strizzis and Stenzn, of big-heads and petty criminals.
