"Crossings of the outer tracks. Niches and Networks of the 'Other' Leipzig: Special Situation South" openly quotes and refers as a starting point and comprehensive source to the book "Die Einübung der Außenspur. Die andere Kultur in Leipzig 1971-1990", which was published by Uta Grundmann, Klaus Michael and Susanne Seuffert. The topic was limited in terms of time and place, but also expanded to include subculture and its sounds. Together with Uta Grundmann and Klaus Michael, we look back at the other Leipzig, but also at the retrospective of that time, combined with the question of today's perspectives on it. A perfect conclusion to the project, which will certainly also reveal that the reappraisal and presentation of the wide range of topics is far from complete, which was the main concern of "Kreuzungen der Außenspuren".
