Workshop - How does the far right use social media to reinterpret history and spread their political messages?

In this workshop, we will take a closer look at their strategies and show how historical facts are deliberately distorted and instrumentalized for political purposes. The AfD in particular is currently reaching many young voters on TikTok. Using their example, we will analyze right-wing TikToks together, identify strategies such as historical revisionism and populism - and strengthen the participants' critical media skills.
