The SONG of the OUTLANDER

In the organizer's words:

Lauren, as a Welsh Celt in Germany, was always a bit different, but now she's found her clan!

It was a program we developed because we love the music and also wanted to film the places that inspired this music. This resulted in video projections that tell stories themselves and draw our audience with us into these mystical worlds to share an experience that begins in Norway and ends in Scotland: "The Song of the Outlander".

We would never have believed how many people would want to accompany us on our musical journey through time and space.

"The Outlander Effect" is what the Scottish Tourist Board called the surge in tourists since the release of the film adaptation of Diana Gabaldon's book "Outlander". The story of Claire's journey through time to find the love of her life, Jamie Fraser, in the Highlands already had loyal readers in book form. But when you add to that the wonderful cast, the stunning locations and most especially the intensely moving music, the phenomenon that is 'The Outlander Obsession' was born.

Outlander fans join those of Vikings and The Last Kingdom to celebrate their stirring stories with music and visuals. Lauren draws the curtain on these worlds and Franz contributes his magical flying soundscape. The audience rises again and again at the end and demands many encores, because nobody wants this atmospheric experience to end.

In ancient Celtic songs and modern Nordic pop songs, the two singers let the words of our ancestors ring out in German, Icelandic, Faroese, Old Norse, Gaelic and Gaeilge.
