Die Gruppe Ja, Panik: Musik gegen Musik

In the organizer's words:

With their album "Don't play with the rich kids", the always ambiguous group Ja, Panik returned as a rock band in 2024. More than 10 years ago, the omniscient musician Kristof Schreuf described the music of the Austrian band from Berlin as "Dostoyevsky at the disco". Their brand essence is their nihilism "made in Austria". With subtle lyrics between party and protest and stylishly playful pop music, Ja, Panik have always sought proximity to theater and the visual arts.

After three records with the Berlin label Staatsakt and two with Bureau B from Hamburg, the group Ja, Panik founded their own record label STUDIOS FUER ERWACHSENBILDUNG in Berlin-Schöneweide in the fall of 2024 and released five new pieces under the name "Musik gegen Musik" in early 2025.
