Die Jungen im Kunstverein

In the organizer's words:

The Junge im Kunstverein is a platform for anyone who is looking to engage with art and exchange ideas with like-minded people. Here you can meet new people, network and learn more about art in direct conversation with art historians, artists and gallery owners.

At the next event on Tuesday, April 15 at 7 pm at the Kunsthalle Bremen, we will visit the exhibition Mis(s)treated. More than your muse! Lenja and Charlotte from the youth curatorship New Perceptions will guide us through the exhibition.

Mis(s)treated addresses the representation of female artists in the Kunsthalle - a collection that, like art history as a whole, is heavily dominated by male artists. While women often appear as motifs and muses, the members of New Perceptions focus on them as active artists.

Afterwards, we cordially invite you to the art get-together in the members' gallery. As always, snacks and drinks will be available for a small donation.

If you are a member of the Kunstverein in Bremen and between 20 and 40 years old and would like to attend, please register by emailing Pauline Reischuck. Anyone interested who is not yet a member is welcome to come along for a taster evening.
