Die Jungen im Kunstverein

In the organizer's words:

The Junge im Kunstverein is a platform for anyone who is looking to engage with art and exchange ideas with like-minded people. Here you can meet new people, network and learn more about art in direct conversation with art historians, artists and gallery owners.

Join us on June 10 at 7 p.m. for an exciting search through the exhibition Corot to Watteau? On the trail of French drawings. Curator Maria Aresin will take you behind the scenes of provenance research and show how politically charged and detective-like the work on the history of these works is. Who originally owned them? And how did they end up in the Kunsthalle Bremen - in some cases during or after the Nazi era? You can look forward to masterful drawings from the 16th to 19th centuries and the often surprising, sometimes dark stories behind them.

Afterwards, we cordially invite you to the art get-together in the members' gallery. As always, snacks and drinks will be available for a small donation.

On July 15, we will be guests at the Städtische Galerie and take a look at the exhibition Ja leck mich am Arsch | Eine Ausstellung zu Trash, Punk, Spaß und Groteskem.

If you are a member of the Kunstverein in Bremen and between 20 and 40 years old and would like to join us, please register by sending an e-mail to Pauline Reischuck. Anyone interested who is not yet a member is cordially invited to come along for a taster evening.
