Die kleine Zauberflöte

Prince Tamino loses his way while hunting and is threatened by a wild dragon. The Queen of the Night rescues him and persuades him to free her daughter Pamina, who is being held captive by a certain Sarastro. The Queen gives Tamino a picture of Pamina, which he immediately falls in love with. Papageno, a not very brave but amusing bird-catcher, is to help him rescue her. The two are each given an instrument by the Queen: a flute and a glockenspiel with magical powers, which are very useful to them on their adventure. But has the Queen of the Night told the truth and is Sarastro really so evil as to have kidnapped Pamina?
