Die Klima-Monologe. Dokumentarisches Theater & Live-Talk mit Ärzte ohne Grenzen e.V.

In the organizer's words:

Four actors bring the personal stories of four protagonists to the stage: Johora talks about her life in Bangladesh after Cyclone Aila, the cattle herder Quabale about her fight against hunger due to the drought in northern Kenya. Daniyal is a climate activist in Pakistan, his village at the foot of a glacier was flooded and Leigh-Ann talks about her work as a nurse during the deadliest wildfire in California's history. The "Climate Monologues" is a documentary theater piece by director Michael Ruf, who has already staged the successful Mediterranean Monologues.

The personal stories coincide with what Médecins Sans Frontières observes and experiences worldwide: the climate crisis is also a humanitarian crisis! After the play, you can find out about the challenges faced by MSF staff worldwide and the solutions they are working on. A thought-provoking evening that also shows why it is worth fighting for every tenth of a degree!
