The spontaneous actors are professionals at transforming loose instructions from the audience into stage-ready performances. Surprising, sometimes loud, sometimes tender or humorous scenes emerge from the moment. Whether it's a wild psychological thriller, a poetic contest between dead poets or a languidly warbled opera aria with hip-hop elements, the art of freewheeling improvisation stops at nothing.
