Cologne is world-famous for a few things: the cathedral of course, secondly the inclusive mentality and probably thirdly our Kölsch. The special type of beer that can only be brewed in one place. On our Kölsch tour, you will experience a journey through the historic center and get to know the breweries that have perfected the brewing of Kölsch.
What makes Kölsch so special?
Kölsch, like the Rhine, unites our people. The original tradition is historic, revered and protected. And above all, it is a fantastic beer (at least in the sense of the people of Cologne, whom we would not want to contradict). On our brewery tour, we will visit the iconic breweries in the heart of the city, hear the story of the people behind the local drink, learn the meaning of the small glass, list the norms and rules and tell other anecdotes that only originated here in Kölle.
Along the way, the process of brewing will be discussed at length and ultimately clarify which is the best beer in NRW (yes Düsseldorf, you don't stand a chance!). By the end, you'll have enough tips and tricks to drink our Kölsch with a clear conscience.
