The far right is gaining strength worldwide and fascist movements are gaining power and visibility. Author Tobias Ginsburg set out to infiltrate right-wing networks undercover. What connects the different scenes? How are newcomers recruited? Why do masculinity mania, anti-feminism and queer hostility play such a central role? He found the narrative of a world conspiracy, the narrative that Western men are oppressed and threatened with extinction - a sinister horror story that acts as a radicalization accelerator.

Tobias Ginsburg's research, which was published as a book in 2021, took him across Germany, into the depths of the internet, to the USA and Poland. With abysmal humor and a philanthropic eye, he showed how offended men are turned into warriors. And what consequences their hatred can have - for women, queer people and for an open society.
