Kamishibai storytelling theater freely adapted from H. C. Andersen
An emperor once lived in China. He received visitors every day. Everyone praised the magnificent palace. Everyone praised the magnificent garden. But the best thing of all was the nightingale. What? The nightingale? She hadn't introduced herself to the emperor. Impudence! That had to be changed immediately. The little nightingale becomes a star at the emperor's court. But can that be fulfillment in the long run?
A poetic story about freedom, self-discovery and appreciation - told with silhouette pictures in Kamishibai (picture cards).
