Summer festival closing concert
For 15 years, Die Nerven have been hitting the nerve of the times and putting their finger in the wound of the present. The band, founded in Esslingen in 2010, does this so convincingly with a mixture of bad-mood noise rock, groove flair and smart German lyrics that they have made their mark on annual best lists and sold out large concert halls with six studio albums to date. Their musical complexity always reflects the artistic range of the three hyperactive members: drummer Kevin Kuhn drums for a living in the band Scharping ("Lars Eidinger has no friends (only acquaintances)"), singer and guitarist Max Rieger is also successful under the name All diese Gewalt and works as a style-defining producer for Casper, Stella and others.and DIE BENJAMINS: This extraordinary punk legacy project consists of Drangsal and Julian Knoth, the other busy singer and bassist of Nerven, and will also be playing at the summer festival on August 10. After Florentina Holzinger shows her new stage ride into the abyss of the present on the last day of the festival, Die Nerven will put the biggest possible exclamation mark behind an exuberant art festival in the club.

Summer Festival Closing Concert
For 15 years, DIE NERVEN have been pushing boundaries. Founded in 2010 in Esslingen near Stuttgart, the band continues to probe the wounds of modern life with a blend of bad-tempered noise rock, rhythmic finesse, and sharp German lyrics. With six studio albums, they've topped critics' lists and sold out major venues. Their sound reflects the diverse talents of the three hyperactive members: drummer Kevin Kuhn also plays with Scharping, while singer/guitarist Max Rieger, known as All die Gewalt, is a sought-after producer for acts like Casper, Stella Sommer and DIE BENJAMINS - a punk legacy project by DIE NERVEN bassist and singer Julian Knoth, which also performs at the festival.
