Guided tours of the exhibitions for children aged 6 to 10:

Tata Ronkholz - Shaped World. A retrospective and a look at the collection: Lawrence Beck - Botanical Sudien

Photographs can show us things that we often overlook in everyday life. As photo detectives, we set out in search of exciting details in the pictures of Tata Ronkholz and Lawrence Beck.

Tata Ronkholz photographed kiosks, drinking establishments and small stores in Cologne, Düsseldorf and the surrounding area - places where life used to take place. Her pictures tell of a time when there were hardly any huge supermarkets and the kiosk on the corner was an important meeting place.

Lawrence Beck, on the other hand, takes a close look when it comes to nature. He photographs in botanical gardens and parks, and his pictures also include wild meadows. We learn how differently plants grow and develop.

Together we discover what the pictures tell us, how cities and nature change and what little secrets can be discovered in the photographs. Because if you look closely, you can see much more! After our discovery tour, we get creative. Inspired by the photographs, we will implement our own ideas - with lots of craft materials. Let us surprise you!
