Die Riesin und ihr Topf | Figurentheater mit Maren Kaun

Once upon a time there was a tinker called Ticke Tacke who could repair all the pots, pans and kettles in the village. One day, great poverty came to his village and he set off to mend other people's pots. The maid's pot, the cab driver's pot, the mayor's pot, the queen's pot! One day he stood in front of a huge door and was given the job of repairing a tiny, itty-bitty favorite pot. But for Ticke Tacke, the pot wasn't so tiny! I wonder if he can fix it? A fairy tale about tiny and huge.

Mannheim puppet artist Maren Kaun works as a puppeteer, director, puppet maker and theater educator. She travels throughout the German-speaking world with her touring theater and has performed numerous international guest performances. Kaun masterfully slips into the role of the narrator and brings her enchanting puppets and objects to life: she conjures props out of her deep pockets, the moving wooden box construction or the projector box and gives her figures strong characters in terms of language and pantomime.
