Beauty and the Beast

"Once upon a time, in a faraway land called France, many years ago ..." is how the two fairies Mister Pink and Cécile begin the old fairy tale of the beautiful Belle and the enchanted Beast. Belle's father gets lost in an abandoned castle on his way home to his daughters. As he has no present for Belle, he steals a rose and is caught. The lord of the castle turns out to be a terrifying beast. The father has to promise to take Belle to the castle. From then on, she is to live with the beast.

Terrible, horrible, horrible? It's not quite so bad after all: her every wish is fulfilled immediately and the Beast turns out to be nicer than expected. Beauty could enjoy the time. Why does the Beast ask her every night if she loves him?

In their fairytale show, the presenter duo Pink and Cécile have their rustproof, weatherproof, ground-breaking, brain-tapping thought-catcher and lots of cheeky comments with them. But how will the story end?
