In the resonance space of word and image, art unfolds as a multi-layered dialog: Words create images - images reflect words. In Britta Lange's works, language and printmaking enter into a lively exchange that reinforces each other and creates new levels of meaning. Inspired by fairy tales, poetry and traditional narrative forms, she combines classical content with a modern, colorful visual language. Space becomes the connecting element between artwork and human being - a place of encounter, inner movement and reflection. With her contemporary implementation of traditional printing techniques such as etching, relief printing and monotype, the artist creates poetic pictorial worlds that make diversity visible and tangible.
