In the 17th century, a quarter of the area within the medieval town walls was still planted with vines.

Dionysus Fountain, where the god of wine enjoys his grape juice in a relaxed posture.
Passing former wine-growing areas such as the one around St. Pantaleon, we finally arrive at
at Chlodwigplatz with its small, fine vineyard at the Severinstorburg castle
