Die Stimme der Frau

In the organizer's words:

The concert "Die Stimme der Frau" unites the voices of women of different origins and age groups and the audience can expect a multi-voice and multilingual musical, literary program.

Amateur singers and choristers from the network of the Migrantinnenverein Dortmund e.V. in cooperation with choristers from the Sprechchor Theater Dortmund have developed a joint repertoire and a joint concept over the past few months.

Under the professional guidance of renowned musician and choirmaster Kemal Dinç, they have honed their expertise in singing, speech choir and body percussion.

The focus is on musical works, poems and philosophical texts that reflect both Middle Eastern and European culture, in particular the position of women in social coexistence and the perspective of women.
