With his hit film DIE UNBEUGSAMEN, director Torsten Körner created a cinematic monument to the female politicians of the Bonn Republic and their struggle for political participation. In the sequel DIE UNBEUGSAMEN 2 - GUTEN MORGEN, IHR SCHÖNEN! he now turns his gaze to the other side of the Iron Curtain and paints a lively group portrait of East German women from different areas of society in the GDR. 15 self-confident women report on how patriarchy also prevailed in the land of state-imposed equality, creating a powerful kaleidoscope of gender relations in the workers' and peasants' state.
