Once a month, the Peterknecht bookshop and Weinmanufaktur Erfurt invite you to an intellectual and literary evening on the Petersberg. The Thuringian Vinarium is located in the historic gun emplacement on the Petersberg, which provides the perfect and atmospheric setting for these special readings.

In April 2025, the author Katharina Günter will be our guest. In her second Erfurt crime thriller "Murderous Power", Chief Inspector Lasse Nagelsmann investigates the case of the dead Surgeon General Dr. Beckmus and quickly becomes entangled in the ramified power structure of the Bundeswehr. Suddenly he finds himself in the middle of an investigation that forces him to dig deep into a moral quagmire - and puts his best friend Tom in great danger.

Katharina Günter was born in 1983 in Stein near Nuremberg. After living in Hamburg for eleven years, she moved to a small village on the Weser, south of Bremerhaven, in 2022. After studying marketing in Hamburg and Luton (UK), she worked in well-known advertising agencies before switching to the corporate side. She discovered her passion for writing in 2018 and started her own business as a biographer in 2021, alongside her authorial debut. She has already published "Getriebene Seelen" (self-publishing) and "Held über Nacht - Auf 6,5 Meter allein über den Atlantik" (Delius Klasing Verlag).
