Once a month, the Peterknecht bookshop and Weinmanufaktur Erfurt invite you to an intellectual and literary evening on the Petersberg. The Thuringian Vinarium is located in the historic gun emplacement on the Petersberg, which provides the perfect and atmospheric setting for these special readings.

In May 2025, we have planned a very special evening where you will not only be served wine, but also cheese. In keeping with this, Erfurt cabaret artist Dominique Wand will read from Ian Moore's crime thriller "Murder & Fromage", which takes us to the lovely Loire Valley - a wonderfully fast-paced and hilarious culinary crime thriller.

Dominique Wand, born and raised in Erfurt, returned to his home town after studying in Jena, where he works as a freelance journalist, author and copywriter. He is best known to the people of Erfurt as a member of the "Die Arche" cabaret ensemble. He also works as a dubbing artist and regularly presents at the children's media festival "Goldener Spatz".
