Thomas Melle's autobiographical novel tells of the world of a manic-depressive suffering from bipolar disorder. It is a radical self-description, an attempt to organize the various states and experiences. This attempt to tell one's own story becomes the only possible way of approach and hope. However, the descriptions are increasingly exposed to failure, the moments seem to be incessantly fleeing from any clear attribution. What and who decides between 'still functional and no longer socially acceptable'? One person, one attempt, three players and the world that lies behind and within us.
