Silvia Wende and Thos Renneberg

The Weltschmerzapotheke - with the means of poetry, music and with the help of our own imagination, a few ingredients are added to the salad of thoughts in our heads and the emotional mush in our hearts, which can promote general and specific well-being. "Accumulations of bad moods, the production of gloom or accumulations of sorrow will give way to a desire to perceive, to find joy and to feel good." So says the announcement of the furious duo. When they perform live in front of you, their short texts, music-painted stories and polished songs create a therapy without equal. The content on offer is presented in appropriate doses and very different topics are explored.

What is it that flows so elegantly towards you? Cabaret, comedy, song or poetry evening? There are chanson-like presentations, spoken and sung, there are jazzy local songs, catchy tunes suitable for the stage and
lyrics about people, worries and misjudgements. You ask yourself - are they serious? You realize - yes. Despite all the irony, despite all the winks, everything is imbued with sympathy for the subject matter and for us, the audience, who, in the course of the evening, approach the seriousness of these reflections. The head is addressed and a pleasant
feeling accompanied by laughter, smiling and sensuality. A little teaser - If teachers teach lessons, do pupils teach pupils? No. But if teachers teach lessons, then students are the scholars.
