Ali loses his girlfriend. But he believes she has been reincarnated in the form of the goat Nada! Both he and his friend Ibrahim, who thinks he hears voices from the afterlife, are ridiculed by people. Together they embark on a journey across Egypt to find themselves.

About Ostwestpassagen: Ostwestpassagen is a private foundation run on a voluntary basis. It contributes to the dialog between cultures and focuses its work on a peace-promoting discourse between Orient and Occident. In keeping with the name of the foundation, events are held that highlight the diverse and multi-layered connections between the cultures and promote mutual understanding. The East-West Passages open up access to sometimes unknown worlds and encourage an exchange about different, sometimes conflicting or shared interpretations of foreign cultures. The initiators strive for a differentiated perception beyond idealization and devaluation.
