There are only two genders? No way! The two-gender order is neither sufficient nor without alternative. Rather, diversity is a fact: people are more than either-or. They are trans, inter, gender nonconforming, non-binary, agender, queer. But with increasing visibility, anti-queer voices are also becoming louder. Yet there is emancipatory potential for all people in overcoming rigid categories. Lydia Meyer creates a world in which the old boundaries have become obsolete. Lydia Meyer draws on her experiences as a person who suffered under the binary order and found her own way.

LYDIA MEYER is an author, editor and conceptual designer based in Berlin and explores sex, gender, social norms and their interconnectedness in various formats and media. Previously, Lydia Meyer studied cultural studies and social and business communication in Leipzig and Berlin, worked for Zeit Online, among others; developed the YouTube series "Auf Klo" for Kooperative Berlin and the queer feminist format "Softie" for funk in cooperation with Missy Magazine. 2020 saw the publication of "Sex und so.
