This legend has carved his mark on us all: Zorro (Spanish for "fox"): As a masked avenger, he spreads fear and terror among criminals and oppressors. Without his mask, he spreads desolation as a supposedly effeminate nobleman. Only his faithful servant knows his secret; he hides his black stallion in the secret stables beneath his estate.

His first film "The Mark of Zorro" with Douglas Fairbanks from 1920 was so successful that it sowed the seeds for two film genres: the popular "cloak-and-dagger films" and the "adventure comedies". Action, romance, comedy, suspense and heroism: anyone who has seen this masterpiece suddenly understands the cult surrounding the masked avenger in particular and all the superheroes emulating him in general.

The most beautiful flowering of this seed, however, only blossoms today when a mysterious, masked silent film narrator ingeniously synchronizes this original live. Who is he in reality? We only know one thing: you are in for a legendary movie experience!
