The artists Miriel Cutiño Torres (piano), Modupe Laja (poetry) and Susanne Spahn (vocals) invite you to the Black Culture Evening, which is being held to mark the end of the UN Decade for People of African Descent.
From classical music and jazz to soul, music performances interweave with powerful, contemporary poetry. The juxtaposition and fusion of poetry and music create an emotionally tangible approach to the topics of intersectionality and empowerment. The Black Culture Evening takes place in cooperation with MAAT.
