Kristina Konrad, DE 2015, 45 min, Swiss German/English/Italian OmeU

University, business, gym, party. Diego is in his early twenties and studying physics at Oxford. His everyday life is well-planned and performance-oriented - the young Swiss entrepreneur expects success from a photo-sharing app. He works hard even when it comes to love and playing Ave Maria on the electric guitar, but even his ambitious "positive approach" and the hot tub on the roof terrace don't save him from the fear of disappointing himself. While Kristina Konrad observes his gleaming neo-liberal façade attentively, her attentiveness and characteristically astute questions give the young man pause. Is there something behind the confidently performed version of himself? Or is it merely a hint of his efforts to control his own public image?
