In 1925, workers from various countries came together in Frankfurt to celebrate sport as an international community experience and to set a symbol against war and capitalism with competitions that went beyond the pressure to perform. The Olympics were the culmination of a movement that took workers and their bodies out of the monotonous rhythm of monotonous work in dark factory halls.
