Literally everything goes wrong in this play: an amateur theater group on tour has finally received permission to perform their latest play in the main hall of a real town theater: "Murder at Haversham Castle", an Agatha Christie-style detective story. However, Chris, the leader of the group, has many tasks to master at the same time: he is not only the author of the play, but also the director and plays the role of the inspector himself. The stage set is also still unfinished and has a few surprises in store. In addition, the dog, who is also performing, is missing today of all days, and the lighting and sound technician is missing his favorite CD.
The problems pile up and the crime story turns into an absurdly crazy evening. "This Play Goes Wrong" is a homage to the theater and makes the people who work there the main protagonists. In this fast-paced comedy, the special magic that a theater hall exudes is given a declaration of love in the funniest way imaginable. Since its premiere in 2012, the British original of "The Play That Goes Wrong" has been running continuously in London and now all over Europe.
