Christian faith and Christian responsibility live from both: a radical and sober view of the challenges of the present and the fact that more and different things can be expected from a Christian perspective. Based on Bonhoeffer's ideas of a "radical this-worldliness" and the idea of the "cicatrization of guilt", current ethical challenges are examined and the question asked as to what Bonhoeffer has to say to us today.
