Different Roots. One Field. International Festival
On Saturday, September 6th, the TSG Benrath sports grounds will transform into a vibrant place of togetherness. Music, games, laughter, food, and most of all, people from all kinds of backgrounds, standing side by side.
Because no matter where you come from, what language you speak, or which sport you love, this day is for you.
What’s It All About?
It’s about belonging.
Whether you’ve lived in Düsseldorf your whole life or just arrived, whether you’re an athlete, a music lover, a curious neighbour, or a busy parent, everyone is welcome.
We believe that sports and culture connect us. They open doors, spark conversations, and build bridges where walls used to be.
On this day, we celebrate that.

Why It Matters
Because we all come from different places.
We speak different languages.
We carry different stories.
But on a field, be it grassy or gravel, full of cheering or quiet joy, we meet as equals.
This is about more than sports.
It’s about showing what’s possible when we say: “You’re welcome here. Exactly as you are.”
Everyone’s Invited.
You don’t have to bring anything but yourself.
But if you feel like adding to the day, bring a friend, bring your grandparents, bring your favourite snack, bring your picnic blanket, bring a smile.
Come see what happens when different roots meet on one field. Let’s make it a day to remember!
