Schlotte & Laurin

Not much is known about Schlotte and Laurin, who have just released their first couple of singles together. Schlotte, whose real name is Charlotte Laurentine, might sound familiar to some, as she has appeared as an actress in the series "Das Pubertier" and the movie "Die Hexenprinzessin", for example. Now, however, she is concentrating on music. Her emotional sound meets the electronic-atmospheric beat of Laurin. Laurin has mainly produced hip-hop beats in the past and is now devoting himself to softer sounds in his joint project with Schlotte.

OSWALD

OSWALD are a quartet from Berlin and none of the four musicians is called Oswald. Although they don't even have a handful of singles out yet, the four of them are rightly hotly tipped: Their debut single "nachts wach" is the perfect symbiosis of melodic techno and German indie-pop melancholy and not only appealed to all the people who celebrated PaulWetz's "Ode to the Bass". The follow-up "mitternacht" was based on a similar mood, but was a little more tender. Although OSWALD are newcomers, well-informed Berliners already know some of the band members: producer and DJ NATÆON, for example, who already has a Sony-Columbia deal under this name and has released singles in English.
