The Berlin band Atomic Fruit combines dreamy, psychedelic rock with electronic beats and gripping soundscapes. The band, whose members hail from Sweden, France and Italy, formed in 2021 after a chance meeting at a SUUNS concert and their energetic live shows quickly became a popular act in Berlin's underground scene.
Their debut album Play Dough, recorded at the legendary Hansa Studios in 2023, brought their eclectic mix of synthesizers, guitars, trumpet, samples and electro-acoustic percussion to an international audience. Songs from the album landed on Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal playlists and were played on Berlin radio stations.
- The attention to sonic nuance and the genre-bending nature of the songs, along with beautifully structured melodies, will definitely appeal to fans of "alt-j" and "Radiohead". However, the band's approach to songwriting itself is unique and defies easy comparison. - Loudness Blog
In 2024, they returned to the studio to self-produce their second album Sketches of the Moon. They experimented with original sounds and arrangements inspired by noise and electronic music.

Songs between dream and reality, between intimacy and alienation, between gray mining towns and a society fat on digital carbohydrates.
From the solo beginnings of bassist and singer Johannes Rest, Digital Carbs have developed into an insider tip on the Munich alt-rock scene. Their debut album "Are We Taking It Slowly", released in 2022, recently reached the milestone of over 100,000 streams on Spotify. It wasn't long before
Munich-based indie label "Schaufel & Besen Records" became aware of them and signed the band. Together they released the EP "Conform Deform" on December 14, 2023.
After this release, the band wasted no time and immediately began producing their new EP "Floods". In terms of sound, the band's new work is more dynamic than ever: from gloomy, beautiful acoustic ballads to manic, driving guitar storms, the musicians stop at nothing. While the songs could not be more diverse, they are united by a common theme: the feeling of helplessness in the face of the current global situation. Digital Carbs once again prove their versatility and their ability to transform deep emotions into stirring music.
