BALLS TO THE WALL - 40TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR

DIRKSCHNEIDER? A name that is not just the second incarnation of U.D.O., Udo Dirkschneider's band. In this form, the band pays tribute exclusively to the musical past of its legendary founder and singer. Like Peter Baltes, who has since taken over the U.D.O. bass position, Udo was a key songwriter in the success of the scene-defining band ACCEPT, which he himself founded in the 70s, for many years. During this creative phase of the German heavy metal institution, a certain work called "Balls To The Wall" was created.

The motto "Balls To The Wall" definitely also applies to the current DIRKSCHNEIDER line-up, which includes the drumming clockwork Sven Dirkschneider and the gifted guitarists Andrey Smirnov and Fabian "Dee" Dammers. It's all the more fitting that the 40th anniversary of ACCEPT's best-selling and best-known studio album, originally released at the end of 1983, coincided with the band's peak period. Naturally, the band would not want to miss the opportunity to perform the entire record live to celebrate its anniversary - and all this ON TOUR in spring 2025!

Udo is looking forward to the prestigious dates: "I'm really looking forward to paying tribute to THE successful album of my band ACCEPT again. Bringing the album "Balls To The Wall" to the stage in its entirety together with Peter Baltes at my side will certainly be a major highlight of my career!"

After around 45 minutes of "Balls To The Wall", however, that's not all: In addition to cult songs such as the title track, 'London Leatherboys', 'Love Child' or the closing ballad 'Winterdreams', DIRKSCHNEIDER will also pack a few musical surprises into the program and also give their live set a new look. So everything is ready to make the gigs on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of this undisputed ACCEPT milestone unforgettable evenings for all heavy metal fans.
