The DISCOTRIBE team doesn't usually act in the heat of the moment, but in full consciousness. This was also the case when Sandra Gold and her comrades-in-arms decided to bring AFFKT from Valencia to the Palais in May. Behind the capital letters lies a remarkable personality and a pioneering artist who, since 2008, has felt deeply connected to sounds ranging from energetic techno to detailed, innovative indie electronica rhythms. The Spaniard has made a name for himself both as an experienced music producer and as a sought-after remixer for artists such as Oliver Koletzki, Fejká, Mason and Bufi. His great electronic crossover masterpieces have been released on important labels such as Pets Recordings, Multinotes, Mobilee, Last Night On Earth, Octopus, Noir Music, Suara or Stil Vor Talent as well as on his own label Sincopat. In any case, AFFKT manages perfectly to inspire his fans and at the same time touch them deeply.

Chew Solo has also been pursuing this goal for some time as a producer, remixer and versatile DJ. He emerged from the Munich underground in the early 90s. At the time, his style was inspired by up-and-coming British big beat, house and techno formations such as Chemical Brothers, Prodigy and Orbital. Nowadays, deep funk beats and playful, spherical sounds characterize Chew Solo's DJ sets and we start the DISCOTRIBE night with this exciting mixture before AFFKT takes over in the morning hours. Last but not least, DISCOTRIBE host and Palais resident DJ Sandra Gold joins the action and takes the musical reins. While DJing, she demonstrates time and again that her music is pure energy in wave form and the best fuel for dancing you could wish for.
