Dark secrets in the city library

The archives of the University of Bonn have long harbored a dark secret, which British student Archie Grant is on the trail of. One day, after a Christmas party, he disappears without a trace. His three best friends set off in search of him and discover a conspiracy that has long remained undiscovered. Someone is trying to defend this secret right up to the present day, to the point of murder.

Author Ditmar Doerner combines historical truths (the later Nazi murderers Joseph Goebbels, Robert Ley and Josef Mengele actually studied at Bonn University for a time) with a fictional story about a missing student.

Ditmar Doerner graduated from the Städt. Gymnasium Alleestraße and studied literature and sociology at the University of Bonn. He lived in Lohmar/Heide for many years before moving to Bornheim with his family. Doerner works for Lokalzeit Bonn. "Der größte Verrat" is his 7th crime novel.
