Traditional Balkan music in new arrangements: Divanhana from Sarajevo combine urban styles with the traditional sounds of the Balkans and bring the Sevdah to the world in all its beauty and diversity. The musicians dedicate themselves to this musical treasure in all its beauty and diversity with obvious devotion, bringing the old tunes between painful melancholy and heartfelt joy into contemporary arrangements. The wonderful melodies thus merge into an imaginative and energetic blend of jazz, folk, modern classical and pop, without losing their emotional power.

Their sixth album Zavrzlama combines the Sephardic, Balkan and Turkish roots of the music with a smooth jazz-pop sensibility, combining epic melancholy, passionate ballads and dynamic dance numbers, mixing originals with traditional sevdalinka, all superbly arranged.
