In the organizer's words:

In the Ruhr region, we know: Change has always been part of our history.

But where do we go from here? How can we work on a democratic, solidary and European future in the here and now? And what role do our roots, our experiences and our voice play in this?

In this interactive workshop, we will connect the past, present and future: we will discuss European challenges and opportunities, discover connections with the development of the "Ruhrpott" region and look for new ideas for a strong, just Europe.

Using interactive methods and open discussions, we will create a space to think about Europe, strengthen each other and take courage: For elections, for change, for cohesion.

This event is funded by the North Rhine-Westphalia State Agency for Civic Education as part of the Ruhrpott shapes Europe project.
