Free, outdoors and under palm trees: this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival will once again transform the Humboldt Forum's large Schlüterhof courtyard into a lively meeting place for sound, rhythm and culture.

Over four weekends, music from all over the world will radiate from the stage: from the raw energy of Mexican cumbia punk to the hypnotic groove of Kenyan dodo blues, from the electrifying syncopation of Congolese soukous to the powerful messages of Afrofuturist big bands. Japanese folk with a Caribbean influence, soulful jazz, hip-hop and the joy and resilience of the Frafra gospel round off this celebration of sound - boundless, multi-perspective and irresistibly danceable!

DJ Ben Olayinka (Berlin, Nigeria)

Ben Olayinka is a DJ, writer, engineer, runner, community organizer and a true master at spreading good vibes wherever he goes. Affectionately known as the "Minister of Pleasure", he brings Afrobeat to the world while bringing people together through sports, music and community - such as with "In Living Color", a dynamic collective of Black and PoC DJs in Berlin, or through his passion for the running group Run & Rave. His performances at the DURCHLÜFTEN festival have left a lasting impression - all the better to welcome him back in 2025.
