Free, outdoors and under palm trees: this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival will once again transform the Humboldt Forum's large Schlüterhof courtyard into a lively meeting place for sound, rhythm and culture.

Over four weekends, music from all over the world will radiate from the stage: from the raw energy of Mexican cumbia punk to the hypnotic groove of Kenyan dodo blues, from the electrifying syncopation of Congolese soukous to the powerful messages of Afrofuturist big bands. Japanese folk with a Caribbean influence, soulful jazz, hip-hop and the joy and resilience of the Frafra gospel round off this celebration of sound - boundless, multi-perspective and irresistibly danceable!

DJ Sebcat (Rebel Up) (Brussels)

Sebcat and Rebel Up are a constant in the world of global underground music in Belgium, the Netherlands and beyond. Their sets and party nights are a cultural mash-up: worldwide sounds, spiced with urban and bass-heavy sounds of the present, interspersed with traditional, ethnic influences from all corners of the world. The cultural diaspora cannot be defined by borders.

Rebel Up is a DJ collective for global, groovy and electronic music from all over the world. With concerts and parties in Brussels, Rebel Up has been pursuing the goal of bringing sounds from the global underground, youth movements and socially and politically influenced music styles to dance floors for over 15 years. In Berlin, Sebcat will represent the collective and perform together with the artist Ahmedou Ahmed Lowla.
